India Rising Trust is a charitable trust (registered in 2014) that engages with government and citizens to achieve improved sanitation, better public health, and hygienic urban environment.
The Trust is an official partner with the city administration of Bengaluru, India (BBMP — Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) for Visual Cleanliness and Clean City Initiatives. The Trust anchors several flagship programs including Adopt-a-Street, Adopt-a-Flyover and Adopt-an-Underpass.
The Trust also partners with BMRCL (Bengaluru Metro Rail Corpn Ltd) and NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) for improving the cleanliness, aesthetics and utility of their public assets, using community action.
The Trust partners with several corporate organisations to support their CSR efforts in the area of Environment, Sanitation and Public Health.
